Called Palenque, this is a reconstruction of how the central area appeared at the city's height in 650-750 CE.
Currently I'm writing my second novel about the ancient Maya, based in Lakam Ha (Palenque).
The story follows the lives of four "queens," two were rulers themselves and two wives of rulers in the lineage of K'inich Janaab Pakal, the most famous Maya ruler (603-683 CE).
